My 1965 GTO has a 1995 LT1 swap. Since the new upgrades, heads, cam, injectors, stall converter, gear and tune, the GTO has performed like a totally new machine. Solomon did an excellent job with the performance tune and I couldn't be happier. I already need a new set of rear tires!

The 3.4 liter rear axle is not made to handle the abuse of an lt1 rear axle. The other complicated thing is the wiring through the dash. You would have to practically take the dash out of the 95 camaro and swap gauges so that you can even read your gauges properly. Talk about allot of work. I am dong the same thing to my 2, 97 camaros.
Eddie Motorsports does manufacture a power steering conversion for the LT1. It’s buried deep in their catalog and for some reason is not listed on their website, it runs around $500 and requires a new harmonic damper and new front pulley. The LT1 V8 (gen II SBC) is a redesigned version of the venerable gen-I SB Chevy engine that was put in production cars from 1955-1993. There are a couple of different versions of the "LT1" that you need to be on the lookout for. The 1992-1993 versions were MPI fuel injected and had a different fuel rail and intake manifold than all the other LT1's. Since 2008, our 24x LT1 conversions have been eliminating the optispark distributor and transforming LT1 engines. EFI Connection's 24x LT1 systems are designed to output the 24x crank and 1x cam signal of a GM Gen III LS-Series engine. This means that LS1 compatible ECUs can now be used on 24x equipped LT1 engines!
