I just bought a 04' KX250F (I know I read the threads on what a P.O.S. it's motor is) My question is what's the Valve clearance specs on the bike. I went to Kawasaki's site, but could'nt find em for this bike. This 04' was only rode once, then the owner looped it and broke a limb, so it sat for the past few years. Nov 28, 2017 · Trying to check valve clearance on a 2009 klx 450 for my buddy. Reading his manual it says to check with the lobes pointing inward with the feeler gauge coming in from the outside. Every video and my bike manual (yz450f 08) Says the lobes need to be pointing outward and check from inside with gauge. Which way is right.
